Film Review: Johnny English Strikes Again 2018 (5/10)

This is the third film to the sequel of the Johnny English films staring Rowan Atkinson which are action comedy films about a British secret agent who seems to achieve his goals by accident rather than skills.

This is a film where an entire family with children of all ages can attend together and have few laughs.

I love how the film is clean and innocent, there are no violent, or sexual scenes and no swearing or bad language of any sort.

While all the jokes and comedy scenes are either very predictable or repetitive, there are still some nice laughs specially for the new generation of children who have not seen the earliest films.

I loved having Emma Thompson in a quite entertaining and different role being the helpless prime minister.

Further I found Rowan Atkinson is still very fit and entertaining at his age.

The film also have nice performance by Ben Miller and Olga Kurylenko.

So my overall verdict this is a light movie for families to enjoy together but don’t expect beyond that.

تجربه سينمائيه رائعه للمخرج الشاب عمرو سلامه عن اثر تراكم الصدمات والعقد النفسيه في سن الطفوله والمراهقه.

في الظاهر يبدو الفلم انه يركز على ظاهره التعصب الديني الأعمى ورغم اني اعتقد ان هذه احدى الرسائل في الفلم الى انه يغوص أعمق بكثير ليعرض وبصوره رائعه كيف يتكيف الطفل ومن ثم المراهق خلال مراحل صعبه من حياته وكيفيه ظهور هذه العقد في مراحل متقدمه من الحياه في الوقت الذي يعتقد فيه الشخص انه لم يتأثر بالماضي او انه تجاوزه بنجاح.

الفلم يبدأ بخبر موت اسطوره موسيقى الپوپ مايكل جاكسون – الخبر الذي يشكل هزه عنيفه في نفس شيخ جامع (أحمد الفيشاوي) ويعيد له تفاصيل ماضِ كان يظن انه مات.

When extreme pressure, duress and total desperation pushes a good, decent brave man to cover up a failure. This film shows this particular aspect really well … humans… the good ones who have strong morals and choose to do the right thing sometimes can’t put up with the pressure they fall under and sometimes feel they have to deviate.

This film is a British Biographical drama based on the true story of Donald Crowhurst, an amateur sailor who attempted to sail nonstop around the world using a self-designed boat.

هذه المره الأولى التي اقرأ فيها للمؤلف الشاب حسن الجندي – هو كاتب مشهور بكتابه روايات إثاره وتشويق في مواضيع الجنه لعفاريت وما وراء الطبيعه من الغيبيات

“هذه الروايه تتكون من عده أجزاء صدر الى حد الان جزئين منها. الاول هو (منزل ابو خطوه) والجزء الثاني “الرصد

روايه منزل ابو خطوه مكتوبه بطريقه لا باس بها لتثير من الفضول ما يجعلك تريد ان تعرف ماذا سيحدث وهذه تحسب بشكل كبير للكاتب. انا بالعموم أميل للروايات الادبيه او الدراميه التاريخية وبالحقيقة عندما بدأت بالقراءه لم أكن أعرف الكثير عن الكاتب او المواضيع التي يكتب عنها لذلك لم أعلم ما ستكون عليه الروايه – لكن كان فيها من الإثاره ما لا يدع مجال للملل

المشكله الوحيده ان الروايه فيها العديد من الشخصيات التي تظهر في حقب زمنيه مختلفه مما قد يؤدي الى بعض الارتباك في متابعه الأحداث وهذا في اعتقادي كان سببه الرئيسي إن ليس كل الشخصيات مرسومه بشكل جيد. كان بالنسبه لي سهل تذكر بعض الشخصيات المرسومه جيدا – اما بقيه الشخصيات كانت مكتوبه بشكل سطحي بحيث يصعب على القارئ تذكرها

انا أصنف الروايه على انها روايه تشويق أحداثها ما بين الواقع والخيال – ولأنها الجزء الاول فقط فبالتأكيد قد تَرَكتْ الكثير من الأسئله بدون أجوبه مقنعه من ما يجعل من الصعب الحكم على موضوع الروايه. هل هناك فعلا جن وعفاريت؟ ام الموضوع كله مُدبر؟

 من المؤكد الكاتب يريد ان يبقي الفضول قائم لنستمر بقراءه الجزء الثاني وهذا ايضا يحسب له والحديث يستمر بعد ان اقرأ الجزء الثاني .. الرصد

العمل السينمائي الثاني الذي يجمع أحمد مراد ومروان حامد بعد فلم الفيل الأزرق ومع توليفة الممثلين الرهيبة التي تجمع ماجد   الكدواني وخالد الصاوي و منه شلبي وكنده علوش ومحمود ممدوح الحقيقه كان الفلم تجربه ممتعه بالنسبه لي الفلم مختلف جدا عن المألوف بالسينما المصريه وانا من مؤيدين الاختلاف والتجدد خصوصا ان الإخراج والتصوير والاداء كان اكثرمن رائع

الأصليين يبدأ بعرض حياه رجل عادي (ماجد الكدواني) موضف بنك من أسره متوسطه ودخله يوفر له ولعائلته حياه جيده, حياته رتيبه وروتينيه وأحلامه بسيطه لكن عالمه ينهار عندما يقرر البنك الاستغناء عن خدماته. في وسط الصدمه ومحاولته إيجاد حل قبل ان يخبر زوجته ( كنده علوش) واولاده يصله الى البيت طرد فيه جهاز تلفون ذكي عليه فديوات لا حصر لها عن كل تفصيله   من تفاصيل حياته يليها اتصال هاتفي من منظمه غامضه تدعوه للانظمام اليها في مقابل مرتب ومخصصات مغريه

Molly’s Game is a brilliant film based on the personal memoire of Molly Bloom by the same name. It is about the 26 your old woman who ran the most exclusive, high stakes, underground poker game in New York city which was attended by Hollywood’s elite, business tycoons and other high-profile billionaires.

روايه فانتازيا مع أفكار فلسفيه عميقه – تدور أحداثها في المستقبل فأننا نرى وصف واقعي لما قد يصل اليه العلم والتطور والتكنلوجيا بشكل مثير كالانتقال بالطيارات الخاصه ولبس العدسه الثالثه كانك شايل google في عينك وتصنيع الأعضاء وغيرها من الاختراعات
تدور الحداث حول شخصيه الدكتور نديم وهو دكتور نفسي مهتم بعلم ونظريه التطور , يؤمن بالعلم والعقل فقط وله شهره واسعه والكثير من المتابعين والمعجبين. 
يصطدم تفكيره هذا بفكره الإيمان بالله او اي اله ويصدم بشكل كبير بكل شي روحاني. يلتقي الدكتور نديم بطارق وزوجته اللذين لهم إيمان كبير بالروحانيات وتسري الأحداث حول هذا التناقض الكبير بين ابطال الروايه.

Starring: Sandra Bullock, Kate Blanchett, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling, James Corban, Richard Armitage.

Being a fan of the ocean films, it felt like I don’t need to give much background about this one specially it is quite obvious from the name of the film and the cast on the poster this is number four to the Ocean films sequel and it is heist comedy film with a full brilliant female cast.

Sandra Bullock plays the role of Debbie Ocean, the sister of Danny Ocean from the Ocean films sequel who leads a group of women to conduct a sophisticated heist at the Metropolitan Gala in New York City.

This is the first time I decide to write about an animated film and to my surprise I come to realize it is not an easy task. Incredibles 2 is such a sophisticated film that has all elements to make it yet another hit movie for Pixar and Disney.

While Incredibles 2 comes 14 years following the first one, it picks up where it left, and almost follow the same theme of the first film where the Incredibles live in a world where they are forced to live a normal life and hide their powers. In part two we see the Incredibles (Parr Family) Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack continue to be acting under cover, superheroes become illegal and the government program that used to protect them has ended.

Film Review: Overboard 2018 (5/10)

If you remember and enjoyed the original 1987 Overboard film staring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn then you will enjoy this one too with the roles switched in the new one.

The film is light and funny and perfectly suitable if you want to relax in cinema for couple of hours.

The story is about a working class single mother who convinces a playboy with amnesia that they are a married couple to revenge for the way he treated her when she was hired to clean the carpets of his massive yacht.

While overall the film was funny with many nice jokes, there were many places were the jokes were not natural or the performance was not convincing. it is possibly I felt this way because I keep comparing it to the original one and how natural and spontaneous both Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were.
